Thus, Q1 of 2025 saw a brutal correction for the crypto market instead. Ultimately, this prolonged correction allowed all crypto to settle into a much healthier market, and the price of ETH finally bottomed at $1,700. Over the next quarter, the price of BTC went on to hit higher ATH targets until BTC dominance started to slow down steadily, allowing the price of ETH and altcoins to pump swiftly.
In Q3, the price of ETH finally reclaimed the $4,000 price range and shot up rapidly to occupy the $4,600 price region.
