A Nigerian court has denied bail to Binance executive Tigran Gambaryan, despite concerns about his deteriorating health. Judge Emeka Nwite ruled that Gambaryan would remain in Kuje prison in Abuja unless his condition posed a risk to others and quarantine facilities were unavailable. This ruling follows a bail request citing Gambaryan’s severe spinal injury, which his family says prevents him from walking. Since his arrest in February, Gambaryan has maintained his innocence, while his wife, Yuki Gambaryan, criticized the decision as “completely unjust” due to his need for medical care. Despite his worsening health, the court insists he remains detained until his case is resolved.
