Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, will undergo a major system upgrade on September 25, leading to intermittent service interruptions. This upgrade, aimed at improving performance and stability, will last approximately three hours, affecting account logins, trading, and other services. The announcement comes ahead of co-founder Changpeng Zhao’s release from federal prison on September 29, after serving a four-month sentence for money laundering charges. Following his release, Zhao is expected to return to Dubai and continue his work on educational initiatives.
