Popular Trading Platform, Robinhood has expanded its presence in the crypto world by acquiring crypto exchange Bitstamp for $200M. With over 50 active licences and registrations worldwide, Bitstamp is expected to drive clients to Robinhood from the US, EU, UK, and Asia.

The $200 million all-cash deal is expected to close in the first half of 2025, according to the press release.

As per the Robinhood’s Press release, the acquisition will close in the first half of 2025.
