Bybit Pay has partnered with Armenia’s digital payment provider Idram to launch crypto QR payments across 25,000 retail locations. The service is being deployed across the country, allowing local consumers and international tourists to spend using digital assets. Its current launch event is in Yerevan on October 22, 2025.
This integration provides crypto users with an easy means of making payments in stores via scanning a QR code. Customers use the Bybit Pay application, which links with the Idram merchant network. The system processes payments in seconds and displays transaction details instantly.
Idram’s Network Powers Rollout
Idram currently handles over 90% of Armenia’s QR code payments. With more than 20 years in the market, it supports thousands of businesses and retailers. This partnership gives Idram merchants access to a broader payment base, including crypto users.
The integration also connects Armenia’s merchants to the larger Eurasian Economic Union market. This market includes over 185 million consumers across multiple countries. Businesses can now accept payments from both local and international Bybit Pay users.
Tourism and Crypto Payment Access
Bybit Pay users visiting Armenia can use their app to make payments at supported locations. The service is available to verified users in non-restricted countries. Tourists benefit from a faster and more flexible way to manage spending without relying on traditional banking.
This solution also helps crypto holders use their assets in real-world transactions. Bybit Pay has been expanding regionally to make digital asset payments more accessible for global users. Earlier this year, Bybit Pay launched in Brazil, enabling secure crypto and fiat payments through PIX.

The process of payment starts once a customer scans a QR code with the Bybit Pay app. Once the payment option is chosen, the app displays the entire transaction information. Users approve and complete the transaction in a few taps.
Bybit Pay requires identity verification before use. Only verified users in supported regions can access the payment services. The system does not support users from restricted areas or unverified accounts. This step ensures secure and compliant usage of digital payments.
