California has partnered with NVIDIA to improve state-wide artificial intelligence (AI) education and workforce development. Governor Gavin Newsom and NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang announced the initiative which aims to bring advanced AI tools and resources to teachers, students and workers in community colleges among other institutions.

The partnership aims to equip Californians with the necessary skills for thriving in an increasingly AI-driven employment environment. The partnership will involve setting up laboratories in higher learning institutions where students can learn about artificial intelligence and creating curricula that focus on AI and industry-recognized certifications.

AI labs and training programs transform education across California

California is partnering with NVIDIA to set up AI laboratories in colleges and universities throughout the state. These labs will serve as centers for artificial intelligence education and will be furnished with advanced hardware, software and cloud computing capabilities provided by NVIDIA. They are also essential for training future experts in AI and researchers who will drive technological advancements within California.
