The hype for Cardano was strong, but due to Hoskinson’s slow and steady approach to building the ecosystem, many lost faith in the project. Still, Hoskinson kept true to his roadmap and continued to build Cardano in steady upgrades defined by the long roadmap released as the project began to build. Since then, Cardano has come a long way and can now deliver nearly everything other blockchains can.

What’s more, Cardano is now recognized as the only truly decentralized blockchain in the crypto space.
