Blockchain analysis firm Dune Analytics’ X account was hijacked, promoting a fake airdrop scam to its 145,000 followers. The hack lasted for 90 minutes, and the fraudulent post for 15 minutes. CEO Fredrik Haga warned users against money transactions or sending secrets to the compromised account. Dune has also reached out for X’s assistance that led to its account recovery. The company confirmed that no Dune airdrop or token was planned. The hack method is still in the dark, but possibly involves SIM-swapping.
