This move follows the full implementation of the Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulation in the EU. The platform will use Bit2Me, a Spanish crypto exchange, for trading execution. As MiCA takes effect, experts predict more European banks will launch similar services in 2025. BBVA’s $857 billion in assets and the growing interest in crypto mark a major shift in the European banking landscape.
