As reported by Bloomberg, Genesis Digital is considering going public via the IPO route. It has started making plans for a pre-IPO funding round, which it plans to launch in the coming weeks. Deliberations are going on, which could impact the fundraising plans. Many other firms, a significant number of them being Bitcoin mining firms, have recently shown interest in going public. Northern Data AG is allegedly in talks with advisors to announce an IPO in the United States.  Animoca Brands has also shown interest in going public in both Hong Kong and the Middle East.
