The crypto community waits excitedly for the next leg up in the crypto market. With the price of BTC still staggering between $97,000 and $98,000 sights are quickly shifting to the pioneer altcoin instead. Ethereum (ETH) has yet to set a new ATH this cycle and analysts believe that once ETH enters its phase of setting a string of new ATHs this cycle then it will lead the peak phase of this cycle altseason.

Ethereum Prepares to Lead Altseason Peak 

Since the end of last year, analysts anticipated Q1 of 2025 to usher in the peak of the altseason this is because historically Q1 following a Bitcoin Halving year has always led to the peak of that cycle’s altseason. Presently, Ethereum has not once set a new ATH while a few other altcoins have already done so.

Despite this ETH and the same altcoins that have already set a new ATH are all showing highly bullish indicators across their price charts. Presently, one analyst believes a most explosive breakout is on the brink for ETH price. As we can see from the post above, the analyst explains that ETH’s current market structure looks strikingly similar to Bitcoin’s setup before its previous cycle’s major breakout.

He concludes that a big move is on the horizon. Meanwhile, another analyst adds to this bullish view stating that the most important support level for ETH is between $2,238 and $2,614, where 12.18 million wallets have acquired 63.07 million ETH so far. Indeed, Ethereum seems to be hinting at a major breakout soon.
