Kabosu, the Shiba Inu Dog which inspired the Doge meme has passed away as her owner shared the news in a blog earlier today. The internet celebrity dog was over 17 years old. Kabosu’s iconic picture which became an online meme, is the inspiration for many crypto projects, among which Dogecoin, the largest meme-coin by market cap, and Shiba Inu are the most popular dog-themed cryptos, while others include FLOKI, WIF, BONK, etc. Kabosu’s image is solidified in the crypto realm. Kabosu’s owner noted that a memorial ceremony for the iconic Shiba Inu will be held on Sunday, at Flower Kaori in Kotsu no Mori, Narita City.
