Trump Media & Technology Group (DJT) announced that Truth Social will launch prediction markets within its app. The new feature, named Truth Predict, allows users to bet on elections, Federal Reserve decisions, sports games, and commodity prices. The platform will operate through Crypto.com’s U.S.-registered derivatives arm, compliant with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
DJT shares rose 4.4% in premarket trading. The CRO token, native to Crypto.com, increased 4.9% in the past 24 hours. Truth Predict positions Truth Social as the first social media platform to host native prediction markets.
Linking Social Engagement to Market Activity
Truth Predict enables users to turn opinions into market wagers. Odds adjust in real time, reflecting crowd predictions. The system merges social interaction with financial participation, creating an interactive environment for users.
