World Liberty Financial has continued its aggressive accumulation of Ethereum, purchasing an additional 1,917 ETH valued at $5 million. The firm also acquired 830,469 MOVE tokens worth $470,000. Blockchain data from Arkham Intelligence confirms the latest acquisitions.

Third-largest institutional Holder of Ethereum

Since October 2023, World Liberty Financial has been accumulating Ethereum. Their total ETH holdings have now surpassed 47,000 ETH. This volume places the firm as the third-largest institutional Ethereum holder.

Blockchain transaction records indicate steady ETH purchases over several months. These transactions have positioned the firm among the most significant Ethereum investors in the institutional sector.

According to Apate post on the X platform, World Liberty Financial plans to launch a Layer-2 blockchain by June. This development aligns with its significant Ethereum holdings, which could be integrated into its planned network.

MOVE Token Investment Expands Holdings

In addition to Ethereum, World Liberty Financial has also invested in MOVE, acquiring over 830,000 tokens. The latest MOVE purchase, worth approximately $470,000, marks a continued interest in diversified blockchain assets.

MOVE operates within the decentralized finance (DeFi) sector, facilitating liquidity solutions and other blockchain applications. The firm’s acquisition suggests a calculated strategy in expanding its digital asset portfolio.

Tracking the recent market movements, the Movement (MOVE) token trades at $0.5379, reflecting a 6.31% decline in the last 24 hours. The market capitalization stands at $1.29 billion, while the 24-hour trading volume totals $104.63 million, down 31.66%.

The fully diluted valuation (FDV) is $5.37 billion, with 2.4 billion MOVE in circulation from a 10 billion total supply. Ethereum (ETH) is priced at $2,602.35, recording a 3.72% drop. MOVE has underperformed ETH, declining 6.12% in daily price movement against ETH’s trend.
